Live a Life of Faith and Total Dependence on God

What a week it was indeed. Flew my first patient in the right seat and landed the beast Cessna 182 all by myself. Loaded up the Patrol and started a 10hrs drive to Manila, got 5hrs sleep then went to pick up Barbara Irene Gavas Bennett at the airport. Parked the Nissan Patrol with its first flat tire, and a dead battery.

Borrowed a little money to start the repairs next thing you know, lug but broken on one of the wheels, took a lot of prayer to get it off. Spent the night stranded as a result. Not much sleep that night.

Spare tire won’t mount back on the back, had to change the studs. More expenses, more prayers, more faith.

Then my computer just won’t turn on anymore, I was told by the repair shop “Your mother board is busted!”

NOOOOOOOO, Lord plz, no. Prayed right there and then. And God to help me! Another technician came, touched something and the computer’s working again.

This week I would say I was beat up pretty good, but in all the challenges that came, I saw answer to prayers especially when I cried out to God for help. He was there, He came through for me and I am so grateful.

I do owe some expenses for what I got fixed this week but I’m not worried about it. God has provided too many times in the past for me to worry about it.

“Why don’t you charge for more than just gas donations when people ask for your help?” someone asked me this week.

But I always say no, and that it’s ok.

Do the work and God will provide the means. It’s a life of faith and total dependence upon God. Seems foolish but very profound if you believe in God.
