What We Do
We give presentations on music-related topics such as hymnology, music evangelism, music history, and many others. In all our music seminars, we emphasize its influence in the Christian life and its role in the imminent coming of Christ.
Themes We’ve Done in the Past Music Presentations
Our music presentations are not limited to these themes only. These are just sample sessions we have done in the past with a specific target audience in mind.
Target Audience
Church members, students, professionals, children, as well as other regular members of the community from different walks of life who are interested to learn how to learn about music and worship.
Possible Formats
Our music presentations can range from 45 minutes to 2 hours, depending on what needs to be accomplished. They can be in-depth, allowing attendees to ask questions. They may also include a mini-concert, congregational participation in singing, and a listening session of several musical samples.

Topic Authority
~Irene has a bachelors degree in Piano Performance and a masters degree in Music Education. She also has experience being a music leader and coordinator in several local churches and has held several music seminars in different parts of the world. As an extension of her music ministry, she founded a website called Hymns for Worship: Learning To Sing Beyond the Page. She also released a hymnal compilation of “prophetic hymns” — hymns that have lyrics which has something to do with Seventh-day Advenstist’s viewpoint of prophecy. Currently, she is working on a CD recording of Early Advent hymn arrangements for the piano in collaboration with Filipino composer and arranger, Alejandro Consolacion II.

- What does a music presentation cost?
We ask for our travel expenses to be covered. Currently, we are located in the Philippines. Travel expenses would depend on where you are located.
We also ask for a free-will offering, and the opportunity to sell our CDs, hymnal and other products if it is not during Sabbath hours.
- What are your lodging needs?
We are happy to stay in a hotel, motel, or with someone who is willing to house us. Also, we may need more than one night depending on the timing of the music presentation, but we can discuss that as we finalize a request.
- How long is the music presentation?

- Do you have Audio/Visual needs?
We usually do. At the moment, we’re still raising funds for headset microphones. We also need to use a visual projector compatible with either Windows or Mac during the demos. We also use the piano for our music presentations.
- How much time will you need before the cooking demo for setup?
We usually need 15-30 minutes for setting up. This is just to make sure our slides our compatible with the venue’s computer software. We also need a short soundcheck with the piano as well as cover some logistic issues.
- Do you do music presentations during the Sabbath?
Yes, we do.
- Do you do music presentations in the sanctuary?
Yes, we do.
- Would this be a good program to invite friends and neighbors too, even if they are not Christians?
Yes, especially if we are informed that this will be used for more than just the local church body. Most of the information we share is usually relatable and relevant. Some topics with regards to Early Advent music and Protestantism might not be relatable to non-Adventists.
