God Still Work Miracles

Let me explain, So Irene and I recently moved to our new place which means we have rent, water and electricity to deal with each month, we also had to get a few things of our own to make our new nest a home.

Finances have been tight for us this month but we kept praying and trusting the Lord.

We just came back from a sponsored trip for our anniversary, which was a miracle by its self. Just imagine being a missionary pilot here in the Philippines without a salary each month, but waking up in a room that is for $100USD per night but Irene’s friend got promos for $20USD per NIGHT in one of the best tourist spots in the Philippines, that is a miracle in itself.

We couldn’t afford to eat their food though so we brought our own. Our room had two single beds so we joined them to make one lol. A small refrigerator so we could keep our food preserve. Cheap promo came with little or no extra access. It was hard to walk around because the rich was always playing golf so walking area was off limits for us.

Right after the trip we will be traveling again this weekend to help train some young people to become missionaries in that area. It’s a 8hrs drive away from home, and we need to camp out with the students for a week.

Irene had to cancel her piano lessons for that week, plus some from last week during the mini vacation. She was willing to keep teaching her students but I encouraged her to just focus on her classes for the young people.

As the head of the family I often have to make decisions based on my walk with the Lord and its a blessing that Irene will go along with me even if the road ahead looks uncertain.

Here’s the punch line guys, “Dav we won’t earn as much this month from piano lessons” said Irene to me. Then I told her, don’t worry Reen, the Lord will provide our needs. Let’s go and inspire those young people to serve others and be a blessing.

Few days later after our talk, these donations came in.

I like the one that he mentioned GAS, I needed fuel money and toll fees round trip and these donors had no idea that we were going to need cash for our trip to complete this mission. God provided enough to cover our trip and towards next month’s rent and bills.

When people ask us how we are able to survive as missionaries, full time since 2011. All we can answer is DO THE WORK AND ALLOW GOD TO PROVIDE THE Means.

Thanks for the prayers and support, those prayers and support is seen and felt each day, week, month and years.
