A few months ago, around October 2020, a team of journalists from CGTN Assignment Asia came to Cabarroguis, Quirino to cover our story. It has been such a blessing to fellowship with these guys and to share with them the the kind of help aviation brings to nearby communities.
Barnaby Lo, an award-winning journalist wrote on his personal Facebook post:
“I hope you’re up for some good vibes and inspiration.
The COVID-19 pandemic has definitely brought doom and gloom to all of us at one point or another during the past year and a half, but one man is giving hope to Filipinos in far flung islands.
Davin Bennett, who grew up poor in Jamaica, has been flying patients all throughout the pandemic – for free. He is a missionary pilot for a Christian organization, and in just one year, he’s carried some 200 passengers… saving many who would’ve otherwise died.
“A Pilot’s Mission,” our latest for CGTN Assignment Asia. Watch and share.”
Here’s the video that was aired on cable TV and in many other social media outlets run by the China Global Television Network (CGTN). We hope it gives you a better glimpse of aviation missionary work.
