Sunrise Sunday began with a long 2hrs drive to teach my classes. Then on the way home picked up my Missionary pilot brother Jay Ahe Bireo, hosted him overnight with a nice Jamaican lunch.
Did a couple PAMAS errands, then stopped at the hospital to visit our family. Drove Barbara Irene Gavas Bennett for her errands as usual, both on Wednesday and yesterday. Friday had errands again for the home and Irene in preparation for her music trip to Indonesia next week.
This week had a lot of driving, which made me thank the Lord for entrusting me with the Nissan Patrol. Work horse. My air conditioner has been busted ever since I got it and every now and then passenger and patients do have to deal with the discomfort. It’s hard to find exactly what is the problem, and according to one guy who I think knows what’s the fix says it $150USD to repair(parts and labor).
Well the Lord has not provided the money yet, still praying and waiting. It’s not easy with the rainy season because the windows and windshield fogs it up, making it hard to see. That’s when the Jamaican driver got to wipe manually while people sweat. No matter what tho, I am happier in it than on the jeepney and the bus, especially when I have stuff to transport.
Tomorrow I am the preacher for church worship. Looking forward to the morning. “HOW LONG? Not long!
