Worshipping at Georges Valley SDA Church

Bible class is something churches in the Philippines do not subscribe to during Sabbath afternoons, in general. However, the more I learn about keeping the Sabbath and spending it in a way that pleases God, the more I like the idea of Bible class.

We got to church just in time for the Bible class to start. Then the AY program. Some churches have a whole complex liturgy for Divine service, prelude, meditational number, offertory and whatnot, and that’s completely understandable. I have never seen that kind of complexity in the AY program except for this church. Which tells me they do take their AY seriously. They have group systems like Sabbath school, points system to keep attendance big, history sharing, offering, a whole host of other stuff. So by the the time we got to share, we only had 45 minutes left before sunset. However, as short as we are on time, I believe that the Lord used that to touch many people hearts. Many of them whom we had personally talked to expressed the desire to do mission work.
